Maybe they could've asked who was the agent used for all those dodgy deals WHU did in the mid to late 90's. Mark something, wasn't it?

I don't think Sir Trev would do that to be honest. Clearly a big pal of Bonzo but I don't think either Trev or Bonzo would get any sort of "revenge" they just aren't the type.
Galey has a cross to bear with Harry though as I think it was Harry who bombed him out and he went on and got a PL winners medal!!
I think Harry just forgets half the time. You always see it when he tells his stories. The fan that scored for West Ham in a friendly. Story One he scored, Story Two he scored but it was offside, Story Three He didn't score. He was also about 6 feet 6 and tattoos everywhere according to H but The One Show tracked him down and he was a scrawny fella no more that 5'9.
Then Harry's telling of Di Canio and Bradford. One story we were 4-2 down, another we were 4-1 down, then 3-2 down, then 3-3 so I really don't think Harry knows what day it is!!!!!

Good article
It reminded me of a quote from Tony Gale at one of the Old Hammers Nights regarding Harry and the Billy Bonds affair.
Gale, "I knew he was lying........his lips were moving!"
I am pretty certain anyone in football that has had close dealings with Redknapp must know his character. Although it seems to be "bullshit baffles brains" more often than not in his case.
The major exception being Sir Trev who obviously put the brakes on Harry's International ambitions.

Terry Brown is alright as a fella..
His biggest fuck up was Billy Bonds.. But he was well and truly in slipperys pocket by then
The Bond scheme fiasco. . BILLY BONDS took a lot of flak for the board.. and then got fucked over by a bullshitter
The Cairns Co were the cuntocracy.. BROWN WAS WAY OUT OF HIS DEPTH

He's a miracle worker
As witnessed by his being able to regularly watch West Ham home games with Bobby Moore, whilst simultaneously managing Cambridge City.

I think Birmingham and others it shows up the importance of selling the club to fit and proper owners. On occasion this can happen but in most cases it fails.
A collection of disparate people pooling together to take a punt on a club doesn't seem financially diligent to me. They seem to think if they throw enough money at it the first two years reaching the premiership will be a breeze.
Wolves have been very impressive because they didn't follow this model. The owner and his small trusted circle of friends bought a share in Gestifute (Jorge Mendes company) to get first dibs on loans and signings...which you have to admit is smarter than a bunch of strangers pooling together to buy a nag!

Oh dear
You’ve heard of conflicts of interest haven’t you?
Next you’ll be telling me that football managers that lean out of range rovers whilst on mobile phones don’t know how to use mobile phones and dogs are able to set up Swiss bank accounts.

Eddie. As I recall it wasn’t many, but my mind and memory are becoming old and feeble so you’ll have to excuse me if I am wrong. The two that come to mind are Rigobert Song and Titi Camara in late 2000.
Although either were hardly memorable at West Ham they would be hugely significant in the scheme of things after they had both left. Liverpool wanted the pair off of their books and was allegedly willing to let them go on free transfers. But Liverpool were delighted when Harry popped up and paid a fee for them after his son made it known they for available.
So Mark Redknapp was paid a sellers fee from Liverpool and a finder’s fee from West Ham. I suppose that it is what agents are for, to find buyers for sellers.
Eventually this information found its way back to Terry Brown and it was what started him having a serious look at how Harry was running the ins and the outs at West Ham.
Sven. That was the owners fault, not Harry’s. By this time all his dealing were being properly scrutinised by the football authorities, the HMRC and the media. So he was just paid a wage to put a team together. When it flunked he was out. But the owners had full knowledge of the money that was being spent.
Gaffer58. And guess what fucking genius handed Barry Fry a contract like that?

It all makes Gold's bleating about FFP look excellent diligence now, doesn't it?
Who's the stupidest in football? The players? The managers? The owners?
All fucking nutjobs. But Arry slamomed his way through. The snide cnut.
